At EIMMIJ Creative Agency, our mission is simple: amplify your voice, sharpen your image, and share your story with the world. Our name, pronounced “image,” reflects our purpose—because storytelling is about shaping how people see, hear, and remember your brand.
We exist for one reason: to help leaders, nonprofits, ministries, and businesses tell stories that inspire action and create influence. Every brand has a story, but not every story is told with clarity. That’s where we come in.
Rooted in creativity, strategy, and biblical principles, our team builds campaigns that connect audiences, deepen loyalty, and move people to act. For us, storytelling is not content—it’s conviction. It’s what transforms marketing into influence.

LEADERSHIP
Jimmie Johnson Jr. is the Founder & Creative Director of EIMMIJ Creative Agency, where he and his team partners with leaders, nonprofits, and organizations to amplify voices, sharpen images, and share their stories. Known for his ability to turn vision into execution, he brings more than a decade of experience in journalism, ministry leadership, digital media, and higher education advancement.
His career began in television news, where he built a reputation as a clear and trusted storyteller. During the pandemic, Jimmie was part of the founding team that built Straight Arrow News from the ground up. At a time when local news and national news was downsizing and media outlets were slowly pivoting to streaming, the team walked into an empty space with no studio—just a vision. They learned to pivot, problem-solve, and think outside the box to launch a national digital newsroom at a pivotal moment for the industry.
Beyond the newsroom, Jimmie also developed and produced a variety of digital series and podcasts, serving as host, producer, and executive producer. These projects showcase his ability to create engaging content beyond traditional news.
In ministry, he served as Operations Director at FaithChurch.com, a multi-site church, where he developed leaders, strengthened systems and structures, and supported dynamic media and online teams.
In higher education, Jimmie has played a vital role in advancing student and alumni engagement, as well as fundraising, at Xavier University of Louisiana —his beloved Alma Mater and the nation’s only Black and Catholic HBCU. His leadership has been instrumental in the University’s Centennial celebration and in initiatives supporting its historic half-billion-dollar campaign.
A proud native of Violet, Louisiana, Jimmie’s journey has taken him across Florida, Texas, Georgia, Nebraska, and Missouri, equipping him with a unique perspective on diverse cultures and audiences. Today, his leadership is grounded in faith in Jesus Christ, his commitment to excellence, and his belief that storytelling can shape culture and inspire change.
Beyond his work, Jimmie is a husband, dog dad, and outdoor enthusiast—passionate about sports, fishing, and golf.
